A full plate for conscious choices
For a startup offering ultra-frozen vegan food, founded by three young entrepreneurs who prioritize organic ingredients from local family farms and support environmental compensation initiatives, positive impact was embedded from the beginning. Our challenge was to authentically reimagine the brand, supporting their omnichannel strategy and expanding their customer base beyond just vegans and vegetarians to include conscious omnivores.
We revisited their positioning and name, changing from Veganjá to Beleaf (“be-leaf,” believe), embracing the banner of plant-based eating and creativity as key differentiators. With the boldness to challenge traditional healthy food category norms, we infused the youthful spirit of the new brand into its visual and verbal identity.
With a lighthearted and humorous approach, we selected a color palette inspired by natural ingredients and adopted a casual tone of voice, using words and expressions that resonate from the plantation to the big city.
The direct-to-consumer packaging allows more room for this “one-on-one conversation,” featuring friendly messages and casual instructions.
For supermarkets and retailers, we created packaging full of appetite appeal, ready to be seen and noticed, while maintaining the brand’s personality.

Primeiro no crescimento: a base de fãs cresceu e, nos primeiros meses da virada, Beleaf teve um crescimento de 69% em número de pedidos no e-commerce e um aumento de 85% de faturamento. O número de seguidores no Instagram cresceu em 127% e no site gerou-se mais 102% acessos. Isso sim é impacto positivo.
E para completar: entre os 4.300 projetos inscritos, Beleaf levou menção honrosa nas categorias Best Graphic Design e Most Innovative Design in LATAM no Innovation by Design Awards 2019 da Fast Company, a mais incrível revista norte-americana de negócios, inovação e design. Tudo isso com direito a matéria especial, contando como o branding está reinventando o ramo de alimentação saudável.
